Short Description
Middyr
On HaukeMell you can ride your bike on the old road over the mountain, and in late summer, you can detour to the Middyr lakes. Park by the bridge over lake UlevSvatnet 2.5 km east of the Haukelitunnel. From here a gravel road on the north side of the lake is headed to the Middyr lakes. One way the trip is 10 km.
Kaldevatn
From the old road over Dyrskard you can go up to Kaldevatnet (The cold lake). Park at the west end of the Haukelitunnel (Midtlaeger) and follow the old road towards Dyrskard 1.5 km. Here take a steep slope down to the right and follow the road to lake Kaldevatn on a gentle incline. From Midtlzeger it is approximately 6 km one way.
Votna
Park at the eastern end of Svandalsflonatunnelen (E 134), and follow the old road over the tunnel. After 1 km turn left and follow the construction road along the west side of lake Votna. Remember to close the gates because livestock is grazing in the area. From Svandalsflonatunnelen to the end of the road is about 7 km one way. This tour can be combined with a hike to Fjetlandsnuten, route 16 in this leaflet. Odland Park at the Coop grocery store in Roldal. Follow the walking path past the Skysstasjonen cafe, on the bridge over the Tufteelva river.Turn left after the bridge and follow the gravel road along the Storelva river. When you come up to the asphalt road, turn right. From Roldal to Odland is about 8 km one way.
Valldalen
From the intersection E 134 and Valldalen road it's great to ride all the way to Middalsbu cabin. Up to Valldalen dam the road is quite steep, but further on the terrain is gentler. It is possible to park at the dam. From the dam to Middalsbu it is 15 km one way.
